Yes my birthday is tomorrow, 21, wow that's almost dead. But the bright side is I can drink anywhere in the world now, that's kinda cool.
Calcon was great, I never got to play but I really didn't feel like hauling around my big black case for 8 hours at a stretch (I need to get a battlefoam case), but I got to watch some great games and learned some new tricks.
I also got play an introductory game of BattleTeck run by 
, fun but very different from anything I've played before. I kinda forgot to take pics, and some seem to have gone missing, but I did get a couple including one of , which I will only put up if he's cool with it.
I picked up a rhino (will also be an optional razorback) and a 4th edition Russ tank.
Some sad news, my beloved fish Von is dead madhouse-exe.deviantart.com/ar… but at 4, pushing 4 1/2. I'm not overly surprised, so for my birthday present my dad got me a new 10g tank and I picked up a small school of 6 common hatchet fish, and later after they are more comfortable with their new home I will get one or two dwarf frogs to join them, and maybe another beta, but if the hatchets don't care for him I'll have to put him in Von's 2g tank.
I've been kinda distracted from painting, as my younger sister's birthday was last week, and my mother's is in just over a week plus my own, it's not overly unexpected, but I have been hitting my Eldar hard more or less finishing my Eldar Autarch (on jet-bike), and one viper, I've also started one of the falcons. I've also started building my own gaming table, nothing fancy just a 4x6 board with gray sand/gravel, the same stuff I use for most of my model bases.
